Cowboy genes just seem to run in the family. This is my grandson Kauy when he was three years old holding the reins by himself of my son Kerry’s horse, Spook, in a large round pen. Kerry was watching nearby and had trained both Spook and Kauy so well that there was little chance of anything going wrong. Notice how attentive Spook is to the little cowboy that took the reins from Dad! Spook was later owned by country music star Miranda Lambert.
